We were born in the Church in the year 1855, in Cuba. Our founders are Saint Anthony Mary Claret and the Venerable María Antonia París. Our spirituality can best be understood by taking at brief look at the lives of our founders and how they responded to the challenges of their times.

Moved by the Spirit, and following in the footsteps of Claret and Antonia Paris, the Claretian Missionary Sisters are dedicated to the evangelization of all peoples, as Claret would say, seeking to respond "to the most urgent needs in the most efficient ways."

As Claretian Sisters, we have been called to unite action and contemplation. Our missionary activity springs from a daily encounter with the Lord in prayer. Our mission is supported by our community life, of which Antonia París spoke in terms of a family, after the example of the early Church: "Charity makes us a family with a single heart."
